Our seventh vintage of Albion continues in the traditional Bordeaux Blanc style with rich, concentrated fruit balanced by an elegant backbone of acidity and personality. Named for our forefather, Albion Marston, this special release combines classic Old World structure with New World fruit, embracing our heritage from the chalk cliffs of Dover to the Pacific Coast of Northern California, declared “New Albion” by Sir Francis Drake.

Appellation:   Yountville, Napa Valley

Composition: 100% Sauvignon Blanc (clone 530)

Harvest Date: August 13th and 24th, 2015

Vinification:   65% French Oak, 35% Stainless with six months aging in 100% French Oak (20% new)

Production: 196 cases bottled on March 14th, 2016

Winemaker Tasting Notes: “A perfumed bouquet of gooseberry and passion fruit is enhanced by notes of guava, citrus blossoms and gardenia. A white peach front leads to a silky mouth of tangerine, mango, apricot and melon. The finish is long and vibrant, dancing with orange creamsicle flavors.” ~ Marbue Marke
